Community Support & Inclusion

Strengthening Community Through Service

CAMBRIS-AF believes that service extends beyond the Armed Forces. Through community partnerships, charitable support and inclusive initiatives, we work alongside organisations and communities to support people, strengthen relationships and contribute to positive social impact in the UK and beyond.

CAMBRIS-AF recognises that strong communities are built through practical support, respectful partnerships and a shared commitment to inclusion. Through community-focused initiatives, we aim to help people feel connected, valued and supported, whether through local engagement, charitable action or collaboration with organisations working for community wellbeing.

This area of our impact reflects the wider value of service: supporting people with dignity, helping communities respond to local needs and creating opportunities for participation, belonging and positive change.

Plasma of Hope Community Engagement

In December 2024, CAMBRIS-AF donated to Plasma of Hope as part of our commitment to community support and inclusion.

Plasma of Hope supports people and families affected by sickle cell disease and thalassaemia through community engagement, awareness-building, support-focused activities and connections that help people access appropriate support networks.

CAMBRIS-AF views partnership as practical solidarity: listening to organisations already serving communities, contributing in ways that are useful and respectful, and standing alongside them to strengthen wellbeing and inclusion over time.

This engagement reflects how CAMBRIS-AF's community impact extends beyond projects in Cameroon and includes partnership with organisations supporting communities in the United Kingdom.
