Ride the Plain in support of SSAFA by CAMBRIS-AF
One of our own, Oliver Foudjuo took up the challenge to ride and raise funds for the Army Benevolent Fund. Oliver raised £570 for the Army Benevolent Fund.
Oliver’s story:
I only took up cycling some 16 months ago at the start of the COVID – 19 pandemic and will normally cycle a maximum of 30 miles along with my CAMRBIS Network members and work colleagues. I will therefore not describe myself as a seasoned cyclist but had to challenged myself to completing a 100 miles ride around the Plains of Salisbury on 26 Sep 21 in order to raise money for SSAFA, the Armed Forces Charity.
It was tough but with the continuous encouragement and support from my family, friends and CAMBRIS-AF members, I was able to achieve my goal.
Your donations will go to support serving men and women, veterans, and their families with the challenges of life during and after their career in the Armed Forces.
Thank you all for your support.
