Every day communities across the globe are in need of safe sources of water for drinking, washing, cooking, rearing livestock and watering crops and the people in Bomaka, Buea in the South West Region of Cameroon are amongst the millions of people lacking this essential commodity.

CAMBRIS-AF, in 2021 launched the Water Aid Programme to fundraise and construct water boreholes in communities in Cameroon.

The Bomaka community will be the first to benefit from such a project. The estimated project costs is £7,500 and it will benefit 400 families.

CAMBRIS-AF is able to fundraise for the construction of the borehole but will need your support for the maintenance of the Bomaka Borehole Project as focus is on a new borehole project for another community.
