COVID 19 humanitarian donations to Reginal Hospital in Baffoussam and Bamenda, Cameroon by CAMBRIS-AF
As the COVID-19 pandemic is spreading across the world, all efforts are being made to prevent further spread. CAMBRIS-AF continue to support local communities and has taken steps to prevent the spread by fundraising to purchase PPE and donating to deprived communities.
Two beneficiaries of our recent funding are the General Hospitals in Baffoussam (Western Region) and Bamenda (north Western Region) in Cameroon.
CAMBRIS-AF was able to raise £1,300 to purchase PPE and donated to the hospitals.
Many thanks to all are donors for making this possible in our efforts to support local communities in Baffoussam and Bamenda (in Cameroon) during this COVID-19 pandemic.

Medical facilities in Cameroon are extremely limited. Large cities face the same issue and emergency care and hospitalisation for major illness and surgery are hampered by limited resources. Covid-19 made the situation even worst!.
CAMBRIS-AF donation of Covid-19 relief material to underprivileged communities was geared at protecting the most vulnerable members of society. Underprivileged communities within Cameroon were often disproportionately affected by Covid-19, as they had less access to healthcare, education, and other resources. Donating Covid material helped ensure that these communities had the resources they needed to protect themselves from the virus. This was the case with the Bamenda and Bafoussam Regional Hospitals who benefitted from a donation from CAMBRIS-AF during the pandemic.
